Our CATCH Kids Afterschool Club offers children ages 6-10 the chance to participate in a fun, healthy environment. Every day your child will participate in non or low competitive physical activities and learn good nutrition behavior choices.
The program is held every Monday through Friday from 3:00-5:30PM during the school year (according to the Keene school calendar), August 29th through the end of the school year which is June 12. If you are unable to do this yourself, you must make other arrangements to have your child(ren) picked up. The program is not held during school vacation, but there are other program options available at the Recreation Center. The program fee is $300 for the school year for Keene residents and $375 for non-residents. Full payment is required at the signing up. Signups for Keene residents will start on July 5th and nonresidents July 12th. Children may ride the bus from most Keene schools to the Recreation Center daily. Contact your school to make arrangements for the ride.
KPRD is participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program ensuring each child will receive a healthy snack daily. Please fill out the CACFP form attached to the CATCH registration and return it to the Recreation Center office.
Registration can be done online at https://keeneparks.recdesk.com/Community/Home or in person at our office located at 312 Washington Street. There are some scholarship funds available. Please contact the Recreation Center office (603) 357-9829 for the request form and more information.
***Program Payment Policy-- Any customer who has an unpaid balance with the City of Keene cannot sign up for any programs or activities until that past balance is paid off. Once the balance is paid, payments for future programs will have to be paid either up front or paid in weekly payments before the program starts. All programs do have to be paid in full before the start date. If they are not paid in full that registrant will be unregistered from the program. Keene Parks and Recreation does offer scholarship assistance if needed but those forms do need to be filled out prior to the program starting.
