Spend your April school vacation week with us and create a game or an animated story, integrating your own drawings and backed by your own soundtrack with Scratch 3.0. This program is for children ages 8 – 12 from beginners with no experience with Scratch to those who have dipped their toes into the Scratch Universe. The class meets every day, April 22nd through April 26th from 1 – 2:30 p.m. Library staff will instruct students and we will utilize professional on-line tutorials so students can be somewhat self-paced and continue their work at home. Please register by calling 603-352-0157 or by visiting our online calendar. The more time you spend with us here at the library the more you will learn and share with your friends. End the week with a published project on the Scratch website. For some examples of what you can do with Scratch 3.0 visit https://scratch.mit.edu where there are many published projects for you to view. We hope you take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
Scratch is a project of the Scratch Foundation, in collaboration with the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab
