The Keene Public Library offers numerous programs for children, teens, and families during school vacation week; story programs, craft programs, movies, lectures, and more. School-age kids 8-13 years-of-age can time travel to the 16th Century by joining the weeklong Medieval Kingdom Cosplay. On Monday through Friday from 10-11:30 a.m., participants will Re-imagine themselves as a royal knight, a noble lady, a craftsperson, or a farmer. Children will make their own costume, armor, and jewelry from fabric, cardboard, wire, tape, and decorative trims. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, children must have a birth date before February 26th, 2010. Participants should know how to use sharp scissors and hot glue guns and should be able to work relatively independently.
