At 1,044 acres, the Greater Goose Pond Forest (GGPF) is Keene’s largest city-owned open space. To ensure this resource is maintained into the future, the City is developing a Stewardship Plan for the Forest that will guide how the land should be managed and cared for over the next decade.

A presentation on this draft plan will be given on April 18 to the Keene City Council by Jeff Littleton of Moosewood Ecological. The public is welcome to attend this meeting, which starts at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers of City Hall or to view from home (either live or a recorded version) at https://ci.keene.nh.us/my-city-government/meeting-videos.
On April 24 at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers A, the Planning Licenses and Development Committee of City Council will be discussing the plan and whether to recommend City Council adopt it. This meeting is also open to the public and recorded live.
