Summary of incident: Fire units were dispatched to 12 Old Walpole Road for a reported extinguished pellet stove fire. While enroute, dispatch received reports that there was fire in the wall and upgraded to a 1st alarm. Keene Fire units arrived to find a single story ranch with fire showing on an exterior wall. First alarm units quickly deployed lines to knockdown the fire and contain it to the room of origin.
Estimated Property Loss: The fire was contained to the room of origin. The estimated dollar loss is $30,000.
Fire Origin and Cause: Remains under investigation by the Keene Fire Department.
