“Community pride and spirit are also something that make Keene special.”

This program enables interested individuals or groups to adopt a block or a minimum half-mile section one of the City’s streets.

The goal of this program is to provide a way for concerned citizens and businesses to actively participate in enhancing Keene’s appearance and cleanliness. Volunteers make a commitment to remove litter along predesignated streets or sections thereof a minimum of four times per year for a two-year period. Volunteers are encouraged to monitor conditions of the street, sidewalk, and drainage on their section of the street and report any concerns to the Public Works Department for follow up.

This program seeks to enhance the appearance of Keene while building a sense of pride and community spirit. If you are interested in participating or getting more information, please complete our online form.
