Washington Street Phase 2
The Washington Street Phase 2 Infrastructure project will encompass the reconstruction of Washington Street from Washington Avenue to Concord Road. It will be designed with the goals of increased public safety, improved vehicular traffic flow, improved pedestrian accessability and following "Context Sensitive Design" guidelines. This project will include the replacement and rehabilitation of utilities in addition to the installation of sidewalks and granite curbing. Construction is anticipated to begin in June of 2014 and continue through the Spring/Summer of 2015.
A presentation of this project will be given at the City Municipal Services, Facilities, and Infrastructure Committee on December 11, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
Design for this project is currently in progress and public input is both valued and encouraged.
