The Information Technology Department implements hardware and software information systems that improve government services. In partnership with all City departments and other agencies, ITcoordinates all City information technology projects in an effort to implement integrated solutions which best enable departments to accomplish their respective missions. 

General Responsibilities:
IT is responsible for all telephone and information systems installed in all City departments. Systems range from e-mail software to network communications hardware, and all systems are centralized in the IT Department when feasible to enhance the accessibility of comprehensive solutions. The department assumes the following responsibilities for all IT projects and systems:
