Annual Green Up Keene Day
On Saturday, April 13, volunteers will be set up at Railroad Square from 8:00 am until noon. Since 2008, the City of Keene has partnered with local organizations, businesses, and residents and has set aside a “Green Up Keene Day” in the spring when we ask our community to come together with the common goal of cleaning up our City.
If you would like to help us Green Up Keene, please stop by, and we will supply you with garbage bags and light refreshments. Interested groups are encouraged to adopt an area to clean up on Green up Keene Day or during the week leading up to it. If you would like more details about the event, contact Eric Swope of Keene Department of Public Works at 357-9836, ext. 6504 or at eswope@ci.keene.nh.us.
Come together with friends and neighbors, put on your gloves and help clean up the trash
from our parks, roadsides and neighborhoods. Join us to help clean up and Green Up Keene.
